Two offices named after Professor Kanybek Isakov were opened at Osh State University

Within the framework of the memory day of Kanybek Isakov, the professor's personal office was opened at the International Medical Faculty. Also following the opening of the creative center "Taberik" named after Kanybek Isakov at the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism.

Isakov Kanybek Abduvasitovich was born on June 4, 1969 in the village of Kyzyl-Teyit, Nokat district, Osh region. In 1993 he graduated with honors from the philological faculty of Osh State University.

In 2006-2011, he headed the Osh Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute.

In 2011-2019, he fruitfully worked as the rector of Osh State University.

In 2019-2020, he was the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic  and  made  great contribution to organizing the activities of the country's education system in the context of a pandemic. He passed away in 2020 at the age of 51.

Isakov Kanybek Abduvasitovich defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic “Poetic research and artistic findings of B. Sarnoyev” (2000), his doctoral dissertation “Fable: Genesis and genre epolysis” (2008). Author of over 200 textbooks, educational, teaching aids, monographs and scientific articles.

4  Ph.D theses were successfully defended under his supervision.
