In a dazzling display of intellect and camaraderie, the Medical Faculty hosted the eagerly anticipated intellectual and entertaining competition “Top Biochemist II”, dedicated to Osh State University’s 85th anniversary. Organized by the departments of General and Clinical Biochemistry and Pathophysiology, this event showcased the brightest students in the field.

The competition, centered around biochemistry, attracted participants selected from second and third-year students studying pediatrics, dentistry, pharmacy, and related fields. Through a series of challenges including rapid-fire quizzes facilitated by the Kahoot program, contestants demonstrated their knowledge of biochemical processes and clinical scenarios.

Leading the charge in organizing this prestigious event was Taasylkan Zhumabayeva, a correspondent of the Kyrgyz Republic’s National Academy of Science, professor, and head of the General and Clinical Biochemistry and Pathophysiology Department.

The grand finale saw the team “Aptekhnye Plenniki” (Pharmacy Prisoners) emerge victorious, claiming the coveted title. The team “HarmonX” clinched the first-place diploma, with “Biochimtsy” (Biochemists) securing second place and “Healing Mages” taking home the third-place diploma, along with cash prizes.
