The meeting between Petr Valášek, the Vice-Rector for Education Quality at the Czech University of Life Sciences, and Nurlan Omurov, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Osh State University, marked another milestone in the collaboration between the two institutions.

Discussions revolved around enhancing cooperation in academic mobility under the Erasmus+ program, exchanging programs and experiences, and implementing joint educational initiatives. This exchange of ideas underscores the commitment of both universities to fostering global perspectives and enriching the educational experience of their students.

The memorandum of cooperation between Osh State University and the Czech University of Life Sciences, signed on March 12, 2012, laid the foundation for such collaborative efforts. In May 2023, Professor Petr Kokaisl visited Osh State University, and two faculty members from Osh State University underwent training at the Czech University of Life Sciences, as part of an exchange program aimed at sharing expertise and best practices.

Established in 1906, the Czech University of Life Sciences has a long-standing reputation for excellence in agricultural education. However, it also offers programs in economics and management, reflecting its commitment to interdisciplinary learning. With a student body exceeding 20,000, including 13% international students, the university provides a diverse and vibrant academic environment.
