School uniforms must be classically styled
The uniform requirements for school uniforms for students in grades 1 through 11 of general educational organizations were approved, as stated in the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated August 12, 2015 No. 572, "On the introduction of Uniform requirements for schools.
The Kyrgyz Republic's general educational institutions require students to wear a classical uniform. Students' school attire must be appropriate for the weather, the location of training sessions, and the temperature in the classrooms.
It is illegal to require socially vulnerable parents to purchase a school-mandated uniform. On request, they should be able to give the pupil a uniform that includes a "light top and dark bottom."
The Ministry of Education and Science will choose a school uniform this year along with other ministries and departments.
