The application process for secondary vocational schools has begun

The schedule for the selection and admission of applicants to secondary vocational educational institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic for the academic year 2022–2023 was approved by the Ministry of Education and Science.

The first round of online document registration is scheduled to take place from July 12 to July 18, 2022.

On July 19-20, entrance exams are held for applicants:

- with the same scores;

- for the specialties of medicine, culture and art, physical culture and sports.

On July 22, the names of the candidates who have been suggested for admission will be made public. Recommend applicants must confirm their intent to enroll in the vocational school between July 23 and July 26.

Round II

From July 27 to August 3, 2022, the second round of document registration online will run continuously.

On August 4–5, entrance examinations will be given to applicants:

- with the same scores;

- for the specialties of medicine, culture and art, physical culture and sports.

On August 8, the list of candidates who have been recommended for enrolment will be made public. Recommended applicants must confirm their intent to enroll in the institution from August 9 to August 11.

Round III

The third round of online document registration will take place from August 12 through August 19, 2022.

Entrance exams will be held on August 20-22 for applicants:

- with the same scores;

- for the specialties of medicine, culture and art, physical culture and sports.

On August 24, the names of the applicants who have been suggested for admission will be made public. The suggested applicants must affirm their intent to enroll in the university between August 25 and August 27.

According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science on the Schedule for the selection and admission of applicants to secondary vocational educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic for the 2022-2023 academic year, regardless of the form of ownership and departmental affiliation, school leaders in the Kyrgyz Republic must do the following:

⦁ Organize the electronic acceptance of applicants' documents in the schools using the automated information system Applicant Online https://2020.edu.gov.kg/;

⦁ Conduct a specialties competition based on the average grade of a certificate of secondary general education or a certificate of basic general education, taking into account the evaluation of a profile subject for training in a specific specialty (aside from medical specialties, specialties of culture and art, physical culture, and sports);

⦁ Hold supplementary entrance exams, taking into account the evaluation in core topics required for studying in the relevant speciality, if candidates with the same average grade of a certificate or certificate apply for one spot.

⦁ Competition in medical specialties, as well as in specialties in the fields of culture and art, physical culture, and sports, is based on the applicant's performance on independently administered entrance examinations, as well as on the average grade of the secondary general education certificate, taking into account grades in major subjects;

⦁ Documents on education issued by foreign educational institutions must pass an examination at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (with the exception of educational institutions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan). Without a certificate of compliance with the level of educational content provided by the Kyrgyz Republic's Ministry of Education and Science, applicants who have graduated from foreign educational institutions are not permitted to enroll.
