Extension of Deadline for Applications: Doctoral Degree Program at Osh State University

According to the decree of the rector of Osh State University No. 7114-FHD/23 dated December 15, 2023, and the decision of the Academic Council of Osh State University protocol "No. 4 dated December 12, 2023," the deadline for accepting applicants for the degree of Doctor of Science in the corresponding specialties on a competitive basis is extended.

Documents will be accepted until March 1, 2024, at the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies (PhD) of Osh State University, room 203 (central library), telephone: 7-09-97.

List of documents:

  1. Application addressed to the rector with the endorsement of the rector or vice-rector for research, indicating the dissertation topic, specialty code, full name of the academic supervisor, and their academic degree.
  2. Statement from the decision of the department corresponding to the direction of the dissertation topic, signed by the head and secretary, certified by the university's human resources department.
  3. Statement from the decision of the academic council of the relevant faculty, signed by the chairman of the academic council and the secretary, certified by the university's human resources department.
  4. Dissertation prospectus with a plan indicating the stages of work (for doctoral dissertations - 5 years), the relevance of the topic, and the objectives of the work.
  5. Written consent of the academic supervisor with a signature certified by the human resources department of their workplace.
  6. List of scientific works before and after the defense of the candidate's dissertation. The list is certified by the author's signature, the secretary of the academic council, and the university's official seal.
  7. Copy of the Candidate of Science or Master’s Degree Diploma.
  8. Copy of the applicant's passport, telephone number.
