A volleyball tournament dedicated to International Women’s Day has started

The Trade Union of the educational institution organized the traditional volleyball tournament dedicated to March 8 – International Women’s Day. The opening ceremony took place on March 4, with a total of 19 teams participating.

The tournament is being held in two groups. In the first group, institutes and faculties compete against each other. Teachers from colleges, schools, and lyceums compete in a separate group.

The total prize fund amounts to 70,000 soms. The winners will be determined on March 6 and awarded diplomas and cash prizes. The prizes are distributed as follows:

1st place – 10,000 soms;
2nd place – 7,000 soms;
3rd place – 5,000 soms;
4th place – 4,000 soms.

In addition, each participating team will receive 2,000 soms. According to the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee, Absamat Sattarov, the tournament is organized annually to strengthen friendly relations among the teaching staff, promote unity within the team, and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
