As part of the international scientific and practical conference “Inclusive Support for ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders): Stages at Osh State University,” an orthodontic olympiad was held for dental residents.

The olympiad consisted of three stages. Participants completed tasks that included making a correct diagnosis based on jaw X-ray images, installing braces on misaligned teeth, and delivering a self-presentation. According to the jury’s decision, first place was awarded to Azizbek Toktorbaev, second place to Aigerim Asylova, and third place to Nurdulot Abdullaev. The winners received diplomas and commemorative gifts.

Gulnara Ergeshova, Head of the Department of Dentistry, noted that the main goal of the olympiad is to teach residents how to apply their knowledge in practice and to train specialists who meet modern professional standards.

The olympiad was organized by the Department of Dentistry of the Center for Postgraduate Continuous Medical Education and aimed at strengthening the theoretical and practical skills of residents.

The Center admits residents in 28 specialties and trains highly qualified medical professionals. Graduates receive state-recognized certificates.
