Collaboration with the Aga Khan Foundation
The structure leaders of Osh State University led by the university president Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov met with the delegation led by Zhyldyz Mamytova, head of the Osh branch of the Aga Khan Foundation "MSDSP KG" program.
The sides discussed the cooperation between OshSU and the Aga Khan Foundation. The university president focused on the work being done in the direction of education, science, production, and commercialization. He noted that "Youth Business Park" was created and started working at OshMU, the center serves as a convenient foundation for the implementation of students' ideas and projects, and the Aga Khan Foundation also works closely with the center to assist the best entrepreneurial ventures.
At the meeting, the youth's entrepreneurial skills, issues of cooperation, the creation of a platform that connects employers and job seekers, and research projects were discussed.
“Since the creation of the Youth Business Park, we have been working together with the Aga Khan Foundation under the scope of the "Local Development" program. The Aga Khan Foundation is also our important partner in developing and putting startups into action for youth. Training for Osh State University students has been organized 4 times with the support of the Aga Khan Foundation. Based on that, 16 of our startup students won a grant of 2.5 million by pitching," said Erlan Kamalov, head of Youth Business Park of OshSU.
