Student Scholarships to Increase in Kyrgyzstan in 2027
Starting September 1, 2027, scholarships for students enrolled in public primary, secondary, and higher vocational education institutions in Kyrgyzstan will increase. The relevant decree was signed by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.
The increase will also apply to students enrolled in postgraduate vocational education programs.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to take the necessary measures and include the funds required for the scholarship increase in the draft national budget for 2027 and the planned budget period for 2028–2029.
The Presidential Decree of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 20, dated January 19, 2005, “On Increasing Scholarships,” has been declared invalid.
The new decree will enter into force seven days after its official publication.
