On February 24, the Department of Interfaculty Practical Course of the Russian Language at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Osh State University hosted a celebration for International Mother Language Day.

During the event, students showcased traditional Russian folk songs and dances, along with creative performances of fables.

Native Language Day aims to foster multilingualism and cultural diversity. UNESCO established February 21 as International Mother Language Day in 1999.
