Osh State University hosted a conference on “State Language Policy and National Value”
Osh State University hosted a conference on "State Language Policy and National Value" on June 25. The meeting was attended by K. Osmonaliev, the chairman of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, B. Topoeva-Stavinskaya, the head of the National Institution “Kyrgyztest”, G. Ibraimova, the head of the State Language Development Sector of the Ministry of Education and Science, A. Tilekmanova, the special representative in southern region of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, leading specialist E. Mamatkarimova, representatives of the administration, headed by the rector of Osh State University K. Kojobekov, heads of structural departments, and heads of departments teaching the state language.
The implementation of the law on the state language at Osh State University, the situation of office work in the state language, and the importance of paying attention to the state language in the development of a valuable public servant were all topics covered during the event. As a result, suggestions were made for how to promote the accomplishments of Osh State University’s highly regarded community.
The team, led by Kanybek Osmonaliev, emphasized at the meeting the specific part universities play in carrying out such essential task as the future of the national language.
G. Ibraimova, head of the State Language Development Sector of the Ministry of Education and Science, and B. Topoeva-Stavinskaya, head of the “Kyrgyztest” National Institution, received letters of thanks from the Rector for active cooperation.
