Festival “Salam Osh – 2026”
The VII International Tourism Festival “Salam Osh – 2026” was held on May 21 at the Besh-Mergen pasture in Kara-Suu district of Osh region.
The event gathered local authorities, parliament members, residents, and guests from China, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. National games, eagle hunting demonstrations, ethnic fashion shows, and concert programs were organized as part of the festival. Traditional Kyrgyz customs and cultural performances were also presented to visitors. Students of Osh State University actively participated in the festival, representing several faculties and institutes. The festival aimed to promote the tourism potential, culture, and traditions of Osh region.
