Admission for the Türkiye Scholarships program has started at Osh State University. This became known on April 13 during a meeting between the university rector Kudayberdi Kozhobekov and a delegation led by Deputy Director General of the Diyanet Foundation Fatih Kayajan.
The meeting was attended by Director of the TDV Education Department Esen Sezen Kılıç, representative of the Ministry of Education of Türkiye Bünyamin Akyüz, Religious Affairs Counselor of the Embassy of Türkiye in Bishkek Salih Sezik, and Dean of the Faculty of Theology Niyazali Aripov.
The parties discussed issues related to expanding cooperation between OshSU and the Diyanet Foundation. Currently, the main financial expenses of the Faculty of Theology of the university are funded by the foundation.
Türkiye Scholarships is an international program funded by the Government of Türkiye. Within the framework of this program, students receive free education, accommodation, and scholarships. Language courses and cultural programs are also organized.
Osh State University and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation have been cooperating for more than 30 years. The foundation was established in 1924 by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
