Meeting with Employers Discusses Preparing Competitive Specialists
On February 4, Osh State University hosted a meeting with employers titled “University and Employer.” The main topic was preparing competitive specialists to meet labor market demands.
Representatives from banking, construction, energy, industry, schools, and other institutions attended, including guests from neighboring districts and Uzbekistan. Discussions focused on aligning education programs with labor market needs, improving students’ practical skills, and facilitating graduates’ employment.
The new platform www.job.oshsu.kg was also presented, allowing employers to post vacancies and students to submit resumes. Organizers noted that such meetings strengthen ties between the university and the labor market and enhance graduates’ employability.
