The heads of the Center for Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education visited “Aybussak” Yerevan State University in Armenia.
The visit took place on January 14–16 and included the evaluation of residents’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills training.
The trip was organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between Osh State University and “Aybussak” Yerevan State University, signed in 2025. The delegation included: Director of the Center for Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education Anara Zhanbaeva, Head of Dental Programs Gulnara Ergeshova, and Head of Therapeutic Programs Jazgul Imetova.
Representatives of Osh State University participated in the practical skills training process of 20 residents admitted to Armenia under the agreement and currently undergoing training. They also took part in the interim certification examinations in dentistry, surgical dentistry, dermatovenereology, and radiology.
On January 15–16, residents underwent a two-stage theoretical test and practical certification at Aybussak University. The certification examinations were organized jointly by clinical supervisors of Aybussak University and program heads of Osh State University.
During the visit, a tripartite agreement was signed between Osh State University, Aybussak University, and clinical bases. The residency curriculum, competency catalog by specialties, and the role of future clinical mentors were discussed. In addition, faculty members of Osh State University visited the National Dermatological Center of Armenia, the Republican Medical Center, and the “Agat” and “Rin Art” dental clinics to familiarize themselves with their activities.
