Students Demonstrated Their Knowledge of Aitmatov’s Works

Students of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty tested their knowledge of the outstanding writer Chyngyz Aitmatov’s novel “Farewell, Gulsary!”

During the competition, participants answered questions about the literary work, analyzed its characters, and shared their reflections. They also read excerpts from “Farewell, Gulsary!” and presented illustrations inspired by Aitmatov’s творчество.

As a result of the competition, Zhyldyz Ilyaz kyzy won first place, Aitmyrza Tashtutov took second place, and Ayana Akzhol kyzy placed third. The winners were awarded diplomas and cash prizes. Students who actively participated in the event received literary books as awards.

The event was organized to increase students’ interest in literature and to promote national spiritual values through the works of Chingiz Aitmatov. The competition was initiated by faculty members of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty and the Interfaculty Department of the Kyrgyz Language.

The event was held in accordance with the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, within the framework of the “National Inspiration – Global Heights” initiative and was dedicated to National Literature Day, celebrated on December 12.
