On September 26–28, the Student Initiatives Forum was held at the Eurasia resort on the shore of Issyk-Kul. More than one hundred students from across the country participated. Among them were four students from Osh State University, led by Erlan Endeshe uulu, Deputy Dean for Educational Affairs of the Faculty of Medicine.
The event was attended by Kymbat Urumkulova, Director of the Regional Office of the Eurasia Foundation; Kemel Sadykov, Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of Kyrgyzstan; and Timurlan Azhimaliev, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy.
Kymbat Urumkulova noted that the foundation has supported young people, teachers, doctors, and families for many years, implementing projects in education, culture, and social initiatives.
Deputy Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovation Kemel Sadykov emphasized that business incubators, technoparks and innovation centers are actively being established in universities across Kyrgyzstan. According to him, students are developing their own startups, testing ideas, finding partners, and working with investors.
The Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy reported that it provides financial support to youth projects in the form of grants of up to 500,000 soms. To date, the institution has funded more than 30 student startups.
In 2025, two student residents of the Osh State University Business Park received financial support from the ministry:
“GFace Technology – a computer control system based on eye movements” and a startup focused on designing and producing inclusive clothing under the brand ZN – ZN Inclusive.
