"Den Sooluk" Spartakiad Kicks Off in Issyk-Kul
The "Den Sooluk" Spartakiad for teaching staff of higher professional education institutions in Kyrgyzstan began on June 24 at the sports facilities of the "Kyrgyz Sea" sanatorium in Issyk-Kul.
The opening ceremony was attended by Urmat Asanbaev, Director of the “Jashtyk” Directorate for Olympic Sports and Mass Events, along with university leaders and academic staff.
Osh State University is represented by 64 faculty members, with the delegation led by Absamat Sattarov, Chairman of the Professional Union.
The sporting events will run through June 29.
