Vilnius University Explores Collaboration with Osh State University on Innovative Education Projects
On May 28, Paulus Lukas Tamosyunas, Head of the STEAM Methodological Education Center at Vilnius University in Lithuania, visited Osh State University for a working meeting with Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov.
During the meeting, they discussed a proposal previously made by Rector Kojobekov regarding a collaborative project based on the 3+1.5 educational model, which aligns with the 12-year school education system. This model is already being implemented at Vilnius University. In response, Tamosyunas expressed interest in partnering on the initiative.
Under the proposed collaboration, Osh State University would begin training specialists through this program and serve as a regional hub to promote and expand the initiative throughout Kyrgyzstan.
Both sides agreed to continue developing the partnership and move forward with the proposed plans.
