From April 23 to 25, Osh State University underwent an external evaluation conducted by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) of Kazakhstan.
The review focused on assessing the quality of educational programs in several key areas, including medicine, pharmacy, pediatrics, dentistry, medical and preventive care, and public health at the master’s level, as well as economics at the doctoral level.
The accreditation process aimed to verify that the university’s programs meet international standards and are geared toward the preparation of highly qualified professionals. As part of the evaluation, self-assessment reports submitted by the university were thoroughly reviewed.
The procedure also involved interviews with the university's rector, administrative personnel, faculty members, students, alumni, and employers. Additionally, evaluators examined the organization of the educational process and the condition of the material and technical infrastructure supporting these programs.
