The Minister of Education and Science announced a $25 million project for universities
The Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, Dogdurgul Kendirbaeva, highlighted achievements in higher education and announced a $25 million project for universities. She discussed education rankings, the successful implementation of special status for 5 universities, and their notable positions in regional rankings.
Kendirbaeva also mentioned the substantial budget growth for universities and the World Bank's $25 million project targeting innovation and research. Additionally, she emphasized the ministry's digital education initiatives, including providing computers and multimedia classes to 1200 schools and procuring laptops for educational institutions.
