On November 22nd, Osh State University hosted a forum titled "Pedagogical-Psychological Approaches to Preventing Violence Against Women and Children" in observance of World Psychologists' Day. The event saw the active participation of various guests, including Nurzhamal Mapaeva, the Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Youth Policy at Osh State University, Gulumkan Urustamova, a leading specialist from the Osh City Municipality, Bolotbek Bayetov, the Chair of the Deputy Commission on Socio-Cultural Development of the City Council, alongside psychologists, crisis center staff, faculty, and students.

The forum attendees highlighted the most pressing issues regarding gender-based violence within the sphere of education. They exchanged insights on providing assistance to children and women facing challenging life circumstances. Moreover, discussions revolved around establishing an automated system to cater to the needs of women and children in distress. Participants also outlined strategies aimed at improving the situation and preventing instances of violence against women and children.

Furthermore, as a culmination of their thematic research, the forum featured presentations by master's students, showcasing their findings and proposals stemming from their researches.
