The OshSU Medical Clinic carried out its first surgical operation
The OshSU Medical Clinic carried out its first surgical operation on the patient’s stomach cancer. Zhanek Belekov, the head of the clinic's surgery department carried out the operation together with the endoscopist, oncologist, and surgeon Omurbek Alishov.
"The operation took four hours. Because cancer surgeries are carried out with great care over a long period of time. We successfully carried out the operation on the patient's stomach using the most recent medical techniques”-, said oncologist and surgeon Janek Belekov.
From now on, all operations will be carried out at the OshSU medical clinic. The surgery department is equipped with modern medical equipment.
In February, the clinic will receive a device a 4-1 loporoscope made in 2022, which can be used for operations in urology, gynecology, liver, and abdominal surgery.
The university also purchased an ambulance for the clinic in December 2022.
