A party was organized for more than 400 retired teachers and employees of OshSU.

Rector of OshSU Kudaiberdi Kojobekov, chairman of the Board of Trustees Baltagul Nurunbetov, chairman of the Trade Union Absamat Sattarov, chairman of the Retired Teachers' Council Kapar Zulpukarov congratulated the teachers and employees who devoted themselves completely to OshSU. They wished them to continue to set an example for the younger generation by becoming leaders in the university's success.

85-year-old Mamat Kulmatov, a student of pharmacy at OshSU is also was invited. The university's rector said that Mamat Kulmatov serves as proof that it is never too early or late to learn.

The university administration and professional union of the university annually organize an event in honor of the International Day of Older Persons.

The party included a concert program featuring OshSU teachers and students.
