OshSU Participates in “South Expo 2026”
The 10th International “South EXPO 2026” Exhibition and Fair is being held in Osh on September 23–24.
The event, held under the slogan “New Opportunities for Development!”, is jointly organized by the Office of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in Osh Region, the regional branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Osh State University.
Representatives from ten countries are taking part in the exhibition. Government agencies, universities, international organizations, financial institutions, enterprises, and business representatives are presenting their activities. The main focus of the event is on developing entrepreneurship, attracting investment, promoting innovation, and creating new opportunities for cooperation.
As part of the exhibition, OshSU Associate Professor Zuvayda Sherbaeva delivered a presentation titled “Alternative Forms of Economic Activity Proposed to Local Communities for the Conservation of Mountain Ecosystems Under Climate Change.” Aziza Seitova, a representative of the International Medical Faculty, also presented on “The SATREPS (IRCAPS) International Project: Results, Achievements and Prospects.”
In addition, the Enactus team presented its projects and shared information about youth entrepreneurship initiatives and innovative ideas. OshSU students are also participating as volunteers, welcoming guests, providing information, and assisting with event organization.
It is worth noting that in 2026, the OshSU Enactus team won the national championship and qualified for the World Cup. In November, the team will represent Kyrgyzstan at the Enactus World Cup in Brazil.
