ADMISSIONS: What Programs Does the Faculty of Theology Offer?
The Faculty of Theology is one of the first and leading institutions for theological education in Kyrgyzstan. Established in 1993 through the cooperation between Osh State University and the Turkish Diyanet Foundation, the faculty has educated hundreds of highly qualified specialists who contribute to the country's spiritual, academic, and cultural development.
The curriculum combines theological and humanities education in accordance with the State Educational Standards of the Kyrgyz Republic. Students study Islamic creed (Aqidah), Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), Hadith, Tafsir (Qur'anic exegesis), Islamic history, Arabic language, philosophy of religion, pedagogy, psychology, sociology of religion, and other contemporary academic disciplines.
Highly Qualified Academic Staff
Courses are taught by experienced professors from Osh State University as well as scholars from leading universities in Türkiye. The faculty includes PhD holders, candidates of sciences, and highly qualified lecturers.
Modern Learning Environment
Classrooms are equipped with multimedia facilities, interactive technologies, electronic libraries, and internet resources. Students actively participate in scientific research, conferences, and community projects.
