At the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of Osh State University, a literary evening dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the Russian historian, ethnologist, and poet Lev Gumilyov was organized.
The event was attended by teachers and students from the Department of Russian Philology of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan, as well as from the Department of Drawing, Painting, and Handicrafts of the Institute of Pedagogy, Arts, and Journalism.
During the evening, several scientific presentations were delivered in an online format, providing information about the poet’s creative path, historical views, and his place in literature. In addition, students recited the poet’s poems and staged some of his works. An art exhibition was also organized under the supervision of Associate Professor Umut Teshaboev.
The event was held on the initiative of Dilaram Madaminova, Head of the Department of Methods of Teaching Russian Language and Literature.
