The Supervisory Board Reviewed a Number of Strategic Issues

On April 9, a regular meeting of the Supervisory Board of Osh State University was held, during which several important issues related to the university’s activities were discussed.

At the beginning of the meeting, the issue of increasing the university’s scientific potential was raised. Strengthening efforts to increase both the number and quality of articles in international scientific databases, particularly on the Scopus platform, was discussed. In this regard, cooperation on a contractual basis with Iranian citizen, Professor Rahim Fakhir Karim, as well as the issue of remuneration, was considered.

After that, a proposal to provide tuition fee discounts for certain categories of contract-based students for the 2025–2026 academic year was discussed. Issues related to optimizing the university’s management structure and reorganizing certain academic departments were also reviewed. In addition, the agenda included consideration of certain paid educational services for the 2026–2027 academic year.

At the end of the meeting, proposals were made on all discussed issues and relevant decisions were adopted.
