The Business Park team of Osh State University won first place at the national Digital4Climate.KG hackathon in Bishkek, taking home the $7,000 grand prize.
The final, held on February 10 at the Technopark, was organized within the framework of implementing the UNDP 3.0 document, which outlines Kyrgyzstan’s climate agenda and climate policy for 2026–2035.
The hackathon, initiated by UNDP, brought together government agencies, business representatives, educational institutions, and international partners. Out of 128 applications nationwide, 22 teams reached the final.
OshSU’s team presented their innovative project, “Smart Greenhouse,” which aims to digitalize agriculture and adapt to climate change through automated microclimate monitoring and control in greenhouses. The solution improves crop yields, conserves water resources, and reduces climate risks.
