Representatives of the University’s Consulting Center for Mountain Ecosystem Conservation and “Green” Innovations visited the Andijan and Fergana regions of Uzbekistan, where they reviewed the activities of leading nurseries in the area.

Director of the Center, Abdizhapar Akkulov, and associate professors Elmurad Obdunov, Akylbu Zulusheva, and Venera Ermatova met with founders of nurseries actively engaged in forestry, ornamental landscaping, and horticulture. They familiarized themselves with their long-standing experience.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects, the expansion of mutual cooperation, and the possibility of increasing the number of seedlings grown in Uzbekistan for cultivation in the Osh region.

The visit was initiated within the framework of scientific research carried out by the Consulting Center in the fields of agroforestry, bioremediation, and nursery development aimed at preserving mountain ecosystems and promoting “green” innovation.
