Ainura Saparbayeva, a senior lecturer at the Graduate School of International Educational Programs of Osh State University, successfully reached Uhuru Peak, the highest point of the African continent, on December 3 and proudly raised the Osh State University flag at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Standing at 5,895 meters above sea level, Kilimanjaro is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. Uhuru Peak represents its highest summit and is a major goal for climbers from around the globe.
Saparbayeva is an active member of the Kyrgyz Mountaineering Federation and has previously climbed several peaks in Kyrgyzstan reaching elevations of up to 4,600 meters.
