Students of the double degree program jointly implemented by Osh State University and Ural State Medical University achieved remarkable success at the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Neurological Forum.
The team took first place in the “Best Business Card” category and third place in the “Practical Stage” of the competition. The winners included Aiturgan Mazhitova and Kanyshai Momunova, fourth-year students of the double degree program.
The prestigious forum and neurology competition were held at the Federal Accreditation and Simulation Center of Samara State Medical University. The event brought together students from leading medical universities across Russia, who demonstrated their clinical thinking, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills in neurology.
The Olympiad consisted of several stages — an online qualifying round, as well as theoretical and practical face-to-face challenges — designed to simulate real-life medical scenarios.
Osh State University and Ural State Medical University have been successfully cooperating since 2021. Within the framework of this partnership, a double degree program operates in the specialties of General Medicine, Dentistry, and Pediatrics. Students study for three years at OshSU and three years at UrSMU, earning diplomas from both institutions.
This achievement once again demonstrates the high quality of education and international cooperation of Osh State University in the training of future medical professionals.
