At the international scientific and practical conference held at the Karakalpak Scientific Research Institute, Professor Bolot Karimov from Osh State University presented on “Osh State University’s initiatives to preserve Kyrgyzstan’s biodiversity,” drawing international interest.

The organisers thanked the Kyrgyz delegation and emphasized the need to deepen scientific cooperation, especially through guest lectures and academic mobility programs, said Kutmanaly Stamaliev, head of the Department of Zoology, Ecology and Bioengineering.

The third international conference, “Preserving Eurasian Biodiversity: Current Issues, Solutions and Prospects,” took place from October 16–18, with biologists from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan sharing their research and plans on biodiversity conservation.

Kyrgyzstan was represented by scientists from Osh State University’s Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Culture, Tourism, Agricultural Technologies, and Medical College. They discussed biodiversity preservation in the Tien Shan and Pamir-Alay mountain systems and proposed scientific solutions.

It was decided that the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, in October 2026.
