At the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) in Bishkek, the fifth Startup Nation WEEK was held for students and young entrepreneurs. This year, the week was dedicated to the theme of artificial intelligence.
Participants learned to use tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Notion AI, and turned their ideas into MVP projects. The program included workshops, team-based work, meetings with international mentors, and discussions about the potential applications of AI in business and education.
Three teams from the Business Park of Osh State University — D-arch, Smart Kitchen, and KATANA — made it to the finals out of more than 400 projects that participated in the competition, showcasing their strengths. This was reported by Daniyel Abd yldayev, Investment Director at Accelerate Prosperity.
“Over the past five years, this hackathon has become a platform for nurturing promising young entrepreneurs full of innovative ideas. Some teams have even made it into world-class accelerators. In this anniversary year, we want to give an even larger number of participants the opportunity to take a step into innovative business,” he said.
The week took place from September 22 to 28.
