Osh State University will collaborate with the Eurasian-Pacific Uninet (EPU)
In December 2024, Osh State University and the EPU signed a cooperation agreement in education and science. The EPU is an alliance that promotes multilateral academic cooperation, creates a communication platform for developing joint research and educational proposals, and participates in mobility programs and experience exchange through publications and conferences. 90 universities worldwide are members of the alliance.
In 2025, Osh State University won a project from the EPU on the topic of "GIScience Education Supporting Climate Action" (GISc-4-SDG13). The project coordinator is Dr. Shahnawaz Shahnawaz (University of Salzburg, Austria). Other partner countries include India, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Osh State University is represented by A.G.Nizamiev and D.A.Abzhaparova. The project includes seminars to improve the qualifications of teachers and disseminate information.
