OshSU awarded for state language achievements
On the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the state language, during an event organized by the Osh City Hall, Osh State University was awarded the title of “Best Higher Education Institution.” The title was granted to the university for its achievements in promoting the state language.
The university received a cash prize of 20,000 soms and a certificate on behalf of Mayor Jengishbek Toktorbaev. The award was received by Mastura Sharipova, Vice-Rector for State Language and Social Affairs.
At OSMU, work in the state language is actively carried out, advertising laws are adhered to, methodological manuals are prepared, and more than 200 employees have obtained B2 and C1 level certificates under the “Kyrgyztеst” system.
