
On June 10, the inaugural graduates of the dual degree master’s program between Osh State University and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University successfully defended their theses.
Perizat Rustambek kyzy presented her research on "The Didactic Potential of Literary Texts in Teaching Foreign Languages," while Aida Osmonova focused on "Media-Communicative Competence in Teaching Foreign Languages." The defenses took place at the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages at ENU. The graduates are set to receive diplomas from both institutions soon.
This dual degree initiative marks a significant milestone for both universities in jointly preparing highly qualified specialists aligned with current market demands. The collaboration is set to expand into other disciplines and programs.
Osh State University and Eurasian National University have been partners since 2018, with more than 500 students participating in academic mobility programs. A formal dual degree agreement was signed in 2022, leading to the creation of six joint programs. These include:
