On May 19, a delegation from Yerevan Haybusak University in Armenia, led by Rector Suren Harutyunyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yana Marinosyan, and Head of the Coordination Center for International Relations Karen Ghazaryan, paid an official visit to Osh State University.
The guests were welcomed by Osh State University Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov. During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the two institutions. They also reviewed the agreement signed during Osh State University’s visit to Yerevan Haybusak University in January, which enables students from Aybusak's medical programs to pursue residency training at Osh State University.
Discussions also focused on opportunities for collaboration in developing joint double-degree programs in medicine, business and management, computer science, and law. Other areas of potential cooperation included academic mobility for faculty and students, joint research initiatives, and experience-sharing programs.
In the second half of the day, the Armenian delegation toured various institutes and faculties at Osh State University, visiting educational laboratories, clinics, and specialized centers. They are also scheduled to meet with faculty members and students.
Founded in 1991 by academician Levon Harutyunyan, Yerevan Haybusak University is one of Armenia’s leading private higher education institutions.
