Winners of the Women’s Day Volleyball Tournament Announced
The Osh State University Professional Union hosted its annual volleyball tournament in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8.
A total of 18 teams from various institutes and faculties, along with six teams from colleges and lyceums, participated in the competition. The Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty emerged as the champion, while the Faculty of Medicine secured second place, and the Institute of Economics, Business, and Management finished in third.
Among the colleges and lyceums, the Industrial-Pedagogical College claimed first place, followed by the STEM Innovation College in second, and the Finance and Law College in third.
The tournament had a total prize fund of 60,000 soms, with winners receiving diplomas, trophies, and cash prizes. The awards ceremony took place on March 6 as part of a Women’s Day celebration. This annual event aims to foster camaraderie and collaboration among the university’s teaching staff.
