
A delegation from Osh State University, led by Timur Israilov, Director of the Institute of Economics, Business, and Management, visited Azerbaijan from January 25 to February 1 to exchange expertise and strengthen academic collaboration.
During their visit, they engaged with Azerbaijani universities, meeting with administrators and faculty members to discuss research initiatives, joint projects, and student exchange programs. A key topic of discussion was the development of satellite projects aimed at enhancing the quality of education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
As a result of these discussions, memorandums were signed with the Azerbaijan State University of Economics Azerbaijan State University of Economics and Baku Eurasian University, paving the way for expanded cooperation between the institutions.
The Osh State University delegation also conducted master classes and seminars on STEM subjects, technology, mathematics, and natural sciences for faculty and students of the partner universities. Additionally, they shared insights into Osh State University’s advancements in STEM education, exploring innovative teaching methodologies, experience-sharing practices, and curriculum development.
Both sides expressed a strong commitment to fostering international cooperation in STEM education between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
The primary goal of the visit was to establish academic partnerships and facilitate knowledge exchange between universities in both countries.
