Literary musical event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Chinghiz Aitmatov took place at the university
At the Uzgen International Medical College of Osh State University, a literary and musical event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Chinghiz Aitmatov took place as part of a three-month campaign called "Kyrgyz Language and Aitmatov," announced by the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Students presented dramatizations from the writer's works and performed Kyrgyz folk songs. Alongside this, there was an exhibition of drawings based on Aitmatov's works. The most outstanding and active students were honored with certificates and prizes from the organizers.
The thematic evening was attended by the Vice-Rector for State Language and Social Work at Osh State University, Mastura Sharipova, the college director, Ozgonbay Stanbaev, representatives from the district administration, and students.
