Osh State University recently inaugurated the Kyrgyz-Chinese Center for Humanitarian Exchange, marking a significant milestone in fostering academic collaboration and cultural exchange between Kyrgyzstan and China. The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of Osh State University's Rector, Kudayberdi Kozhobekov, alongside a delegation from China's Central University led by its Rector, Tsun Ho Guanshen.

This center's establishment is a realization of a bilateral agreement signed in Beijing back in 2019. Since 2021, the Kyrgyz-Chinese Center for Humanitarian Exchange has been operating effectively under the auspices of China's Central University.

The centers will serve as hubs for various collaborative activities aimed at enhancing academic mobility, professional development, conducting joint research endeavors, and translating literary classics of both nations into their respective national languages. These initiatives reflect a commitment to fostering deeper cultural understanding and scholarly cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China.
