Czech professor visited Osh State University
Petr Kokaisl, a professor at the Czech University of Natural Sciences, visited the Osh State University. He met with Abdygany Abduvaliev, the director of Osh State University’s department of international relations. The parties talked about ways to strengthen university cooperation in the areas of academic mobility, double degree programs, and collaborative research initiatives. A. Abduvaliev asked the guest to consider the prospect of sending a volunteer instructor who speaks Czech as native tongue to Osh State University, as well as the exchange of students and lecturers, similar to how this procedure is carried out with the University of West Bohemia.
The parties agreed to speed up the completion of an agreement of cooperation under the “Erasmus + KA 171” program, which will grant Osh State University students and faculty members scholarships to study and take part in international training seminars at the Czech University of Natural Sciences.
An agreement of cooperation between universities was signed on March 12, 2018.
