The academic year begins on September 1
The Ministry of Education and Science reports that the optimum duration for the length of the academic year have been established at all levels of education in the republic in accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 425 of August 1, 2022, “On Amendments to Certain Decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Field of Education.”
As a result, general education, basic vocational education, and secondary vocational education institutions begin their academic years on September 1.
The process for admission to higher educational institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic has also undergone adjustments.
