OshSU Representative Gains Experience in AI and Digital Education in China
From September 13 to 21, Aida Keldibekova, Head of a Department at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies, participated in a training program in Lanzhou, gaining experience in integrating new technologies into education.
The program, titled “Enhancing Central Asian Leadership in Education through Interaction in AI Technologies and the Digital Education Industry,” brought together representatives from five higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan and representatives of the education sector of Uzbekistan.
During the program, Chinese scholars and digitalization experts delivered lectures on the use of artificial intelligence in schools and universities, digital education policy, and education management. Participants explored practical opportunities for using AI in education and visited Lanzhou Vocational and Technical University, the University of Resources and Environment, and several other scientific and educational institutions.
At the end of the program, participants discussed the current state of digital education in Central Asia, future development directions, and opportunities for expanding international cooperation.
The program was organized by Northwest Normal University with the support of the Department of Education and Foreign Affairs under the People’s Government of Gansu Province.
