75th anniversary of Professor Kapar Zulpukarov
An evening devoted to the 75th anniversary of Professor Kapar Zulpukarov, Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Professor of Russian and Comparative Linguistics at the Department of Russian Philology, Osh State University, Director of the Center for Linguistic Research.
The event participants were faculty and students of OshSU, headed by Vice-Rector for Research Ruslan Arapbaev, well-known scientists Mamed Tagaev, Ibraim Abduvaliev, Nikolai Muradymov, Zhaanbai Elchiev, Gulina Zhamgyrchieva, Surma Seitbekova, Sabyrkul Kalygulova.
During the event, the views of scientists, colleagues and students were expressed about Professor Kapar Zulpukarov. Melodic songs were renewed, videos about his life, scientific and social activities were shown.
Under the supervision of Professor Kapar Zulpukarov, 5 doctors of sciences and 26 candidates of sciences defended their dissertations in general, comparative-typological, Russian, German and Kyrgyz linguistics.
