Students Receive Information on Law and Safety
On October 2, the Industrial-Pedagogical College of OshSU held a meeting titled “A Safe Environment for a Bright Future.” The meeting focused on student safety and legal awareness.
The meeting was attended by Erлан Nadyrov, Head of City Police Department No. 1; a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Service for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Gulmura Zhapakova; Gulbara Kulueva, Head of the Center for Assistance to Families and Children under the Osh Mayor’s Office and a psychologist; and Zhanibai Kadyrbekov, a lecturer at the E. Aliev Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The participants provided information on the harmful effects of drug use on health and life, preventing offenses among young people, and combating extortion and racketeering in educational institutions. Special presentations were also given on these topics.
Gulbara Kulueva advised students on making the right decisions in difficult situations, maintaining personal safety, and taking care of their psychological well-being.
At the end of the meeting, students asked the specialists questions and received answers.
