Players of the OshSU football club rescued an elderly woman from a house fire on August 29.
At around 8:00 p.m., the footballers were returning from training and entering their base when they noticed a fire in a nearby house.
They immediately went to the scene and saw that a person was trapped on the second floor. Before firefighters arrived, five players — Andrey Sidorov, Maksim Vysotsky, Vladimir Maslovsky, Mirlan Kudayberdiev and Sherzodbek Kodirov — managed to bring the elderly woman outside.
According to the players, the woman was unable to leave the house on her own due to her health condition. The footballers safely rescued her from the fire and handed her over to the emergency medical service.
