OshSU Won First Place in International Olympiad with Five Countries
The final stage of the 5th International Derzhavin Russian Language Olympiad was held at Osh State University.
About 650 students from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and China participated, with 75 reaching the final round.
OshSU students won first, second, and third places. The Olympiad aimed to promote the Russian language abroad, increase students’ interest in language learning, and strengthen cultural ties.
Representatives from Tambov State University also delivered lectures on modern methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
